There were a number of factors that led into that - growing tired of football-crazed fans, and of course the head injuries and CTE. But up near the top is seeing just how damned right-wing so many people involved with the game are. Whether it's homophobia from players, racism from the owners, and how many scumbags like Birk and Steve Largent run as Republicans and ruin this country, it seems we can count on football to push their MAGA shit.

I know there is a lot of it in sports - money, toxic masculinity... But feels like the NFL is up there with NASCAR.

I'm just waiting for the first anti-"groomers" rant from Footbaw Man this fall.
