She is a piece of work. Last night she called Mary Peltola a friend and a beautiful soul. Today she is back to being her regular ugly self.

There are plenty of substantive things to critique. Let's not focus on women's appearance

Now that the youthful bloom is gone we can see clearly how ugly she is inside.

...that they can't decide among themselves who they should be running, Palin can fix that problem really easily by simply saying that she will refuse to run in the November election and instead endorse Begich.

By, get this, actually, for real, getting enough votes to win an election.

Old-fashioned, yes.

But VERY effective.

Those who preferred the Republican candidate who was not likely to win were able to vote for that candidate without automatically giving the election to a Democrat.

So while it is true that 59.8% generically wanted a Republican (voting first for either Palin or Begich). Of that 59.8%, 36.5% preferred a Democrat over Sarah Palin (the specific Republican left standing).

So while the 36.5 % of those who voted generically for a Republican didn't get their first choice, they got their second - which happened to a Democrat.
