At the first rally since the FBI raided his Mar-a-Lago estate, former President Donald Trump said it wasn't just his home that was raided, "it was the hopes and dreams of every citizen who I've been fighting for since the moment I came down the golden escalator in 2015, wanting to represent the people."

Insider's Tom Porter reported the investigations appear to be moving toward criminal charges for Trump, according to a former top counterintelligence official.

At the rally, Trump claimed that during the raid agents "rifled through the first lady's closet drawers" and even did a "deep and ugly search of the room of my 16-year-old son."

Throughout the speech, Trump maintained the search at his Florida estate was politically motivated and "a travesty of justice." He added that it undermined American traditions and called the FBI and DOJ "vicious monsters" who are controlled by "radical left scoundrels, lawyers, and the media."
