8. I think it shows a lack of scientific understanding

Viruses like covid are not just floating around waiting to attack you.

Just wondered if other people still see what I'm seeing. I could see in the beginning of the pandemic we were all scared.

Now, it's just dumb.

doesn't justify an aggressive response. I've often wondered the same thing myself. I have no issue with what other people do regarding masks. I still wear mine regularly, just not alone at home or in the car.
I almost have to assume it's just out of convenience and not wanting to keep taking it on and off constantly, but I've no idea really.

6. I've done it in the car when I'm going multiple places in a short time.

Outside, just cautious. Do you think it's dumb? Maybe they have health issues and don't want to bump into somebody, even outside. Someone could cough or sneeze. I'd cut them some slack. Covid is still deadly to a lot of people. Why risk it?

I am in and out of the car so I don't bother taking it off sometimes.
But yes why do you care?
And your devolved comment was just rude.

11. I'll sometimes keep my mask on during a short drive between two stores

where I’ll have the mask on inside, if it’s not bothering me too much. I wear an N95 with two straps over the head so it takes a few seconds to get it on and off, and so sometimes it just seems easier to keep the mask on for that short duration of five minutes or so.

People may also wear the masks due to pollen or dust in the air. Just a thought.

12. I put my mask on in my car in the parking lot before walking into my workplace.

Some mornings when I am running late I put the mask on at a stoplight before I get to work to save a little time. Maybe someone has given someone else a ride somewhere and doesn’t want to take their mask off until they get out of the car. So what?

13. I needed to drive my sister's car when I had COVID

And I wore a mask when I did. I was trying to do anything and everything to keep from giving it to someone else. Scientific or not, it made me feel better.

Who notices things like this?
