asked just now on joy reid. susan del persio says- i wish i knew what tfg had on him, because it doesnt make sense.
and- off the subject. an ittty bittty truth dropped, then move along.
hello? he is a serial blackmailer. david pecker's safe were an integral part of his power in nyc and elsewhere. do you think his friendship w jeffie was just about kinky sex? he's not an idiot. he knows there is a price to pay for hanging w a sleazebag like him. he didnt need him to get laid, he had a modeling agency. pecker came at a price, too.
the serious ppl he so badly wanted to like him looked down on that shit and he knew it. but it was worth it. if there wasnt kompromat to be bought, well, set it up.
say that.

(8,964 posts)The long-standing "dead girl or a live boy". A dead boy takes it a step further. And of course, there is absolutely no evidence to support this. Just a bit of speculation that whatever the goods are on Lindsey, it must be of a magnitude to compel him to take extraordinary measures to keep a lid on it.

The man may or may not be gay, but I despise the fact that so called progressives think his sexual orientation somehow turns him into a pedophile or a killer. You do know the majority of pedophiles are straight men, do you not? Ugh.

(5,400 posts)trumps mentor roy cohn was a notorious extortionist, epstein, and trump himself was known for parties featuring his east european "models."
i've been wondering if what the fbi were really looking for during the famous panty raid (melania threw away her entire wardrobe because the fbi touched it) was epstein's video collection. of course, we'll never know.

(58,785 posts)is on line. Epstein's video collection is not on it. Given their reason to believe tRump had stolen highly sensitive national defense documents, etc,, as listed on the warrant, it seems unlikely that they were really there to search for Epstein videos.
On the speculation end, it also seems likely that agents who might be suspected of unethical loyalties (if any remain on the investigative side instead of being cleaned out or exiled to HR) would be excluded from this project.

(14,863 posts)... Who knew what when? In Palo Alto, after Epsteins conviction, he was a guest at a dinner for the MIT neuroscientist Ed Boyden that was hosted by LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman. At the same dinner Elon Musk introduced Epstein to Mark Zuckerberg. Is money so powerful that it tramples all other considerations? As James Baldwin put it, I cant believe what you say, because I see what you do.
One of the most remarkable moments in Tyrnauers documentary comes near the end, when its no longer possible to pretend that Cohn isnt a liar and a fraud, when its no longer possible to deny that he lacks both shame and conscience. When Cohn was about to be disbarred in 1986 for defrauding his clients and for taking advantage of a dying and incompetent man, character witnesses began to emerge. There were letters to the court from William F. Buckley Jr., Barbara Walters, William Safire, and, of course, Trump, who wrote that Cohn has been extremely loyal and extremely honest. Were Cohns partieswas his protectionreally that good?...

Excerpt...
Epstein, who was charged last week by federal authorities in the Southern District of New York with sex trafficking with sex-trafficking and conspiracy to commit sex-trafficking, was a 20 year old college drop-out when he was hired to teach at Dalton by the schools headmaster Donald Barr in the mid 1970s. Donald Barr was the father of current United States Attorney General William Barr, who is currently overseeing Epsteins prosecution.
According to at least one former student, Dalton alums have long joked about Barrs hiring of Epstein..
The joke has been [that] this is the Epstein-Barr problem at Dalton, said Harry Segal, a 1974 graduate who is now a senior lecturer at Cornell University and Weill Cornell Medical College, in an interview with the Huffington Post. Epstein-Barr is a type of herpes virus best known as the cause of infectious mononucleosis.
Scott Spizer, who graduated in 1976, said that Epstein was most remembered for his persistent attention on teenage girls in the hallways, recalled a night when the young educator showed up at a party where Dalton students were drinking.
I can remember thinking at the time, This is wrong, Spizer said in an interview with the New York Times.

(9,963 posts)Trump in turn trained susceptible Republicans to be corruptboth in integrity and in grifting. They saw how much he had gotten away with his whole life, and how much he was getting away with as president and decided to join that team. It wasnt a very far leap because most elected Republicans had no integrity to start with. They couldnt have integrity and be part of a party that preached hatred and racism for decades. There are a few Republicans who show some integrity, like Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger, and a very few in the states, but it is essentially a party filled with dishonest people who think laws should not apply to them because they are important.

I'd never have expected this from you. Smh.

(70,071 posts)it has to do w tfg's history of honey traps and blackmail.
i'm sure more than a few of his targets are married straight men cheating on their wives w adult sex workers. but most have been caught doing something that they are deeply ashamed of. that's how blackmail works. i've said over and over that this isnt about him being gay. if he was ashamed of that, he's have a beard.
and dead girl/live boy is an old saying that many other's here have echoed. whatever it is, it has to be horrid.
and his use of escorts has bene reported many times here, including that they call him a name that's against the tos so i wont repeat it.
i picked on lindsey cuz his name was called on the tv.
BlackSkimmer
(51,308 posts)Do you know how much fake crap I've seen "reported" here?
Just the other day, posters named someone as the pilot of that plane in Mississippi, and guess what? it wasn't true! How about the report MTG was on America's Got Talent? Remember that one? I've lost count of the fake news posts I've seen here.
I've seen so much fake stuff reported here that' I'd never believe it without corroboration. if you believe people "reporting it" here, no matter what it is, well, you're going to find yourself misled quite frequently. And he's been called homophobic names here too, right? And that's your proof?
"Nothing to do with him being gay"? yet then you bring up the spurious claims of an escort service and a homophobe name. Wow. Think about it.
"I picked on Lindsey cause his name was called on the tv". What? What does that even mean?
Honestly, I'm surprised at you.

After the chat, he was a changed man. The rest of the Republican Party had to go to Russian on July 4th to get their wake-up call.....I suspect that Republicans have been cultivating compromised candidates for many years to "whip" the caucus to vote Party line.
Unfortunately, it appears that Russia managed to get the dossiers on every Republican in Congress when they hacked into the RNC servers. You never heard much about that break-in, though....

One has to be very naive to think nothing happened during that golf outing. Lindsey heard of all the crap the SOB has on him, so it was "join the team or suffer the consequences".
