6. I disagree. I think it is a cold case that is not actively being worked.

The guilty party has obviously been very tight-lipped about it and has not leaked word of the crime to anyone who would rat them out. Sort of some testimony coming forward or a confession, there is not much the FBI can do, assuming they have reviewed all possible camera footage from the neighborhood to city to track the subject’s movements. This is a modern day D. B. Cooper case.

Obviously there are no fingerprints or DNA evidence found on the materials. All they have is done grainy camera footage which apart from height and maybe race, there is nothing even close to being used to identify the culprit. They have surely scoured all possible video footage from the nearby area. It has been 20 months and there have no arrests or notifications of a person of interest. There have been no updates. As far as we can tell, there is nothing new and without anything new, there is nothing to investigate. It’s a cold case.

The case is surely a higher priority than the ongoing cases against the individual insurrectionists. Why no public announcements or status updates? There are no give, ergo a cold case.
