WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)Calling President Bidens recent prime-time address deeply offensive and upsetting, a group representing the nations armed insurrectionists has complained that the speech hurt their feelings.
The group, the National Society of Heavily Armed Insurrectionists, is one of the most prominent associations of insurrectionists and rioters in the country, experts say.
Harland Dorrinson, the executive director of the N.S.H.A.I., said that insurrectionists across the country watched Bidens speech in a state of profound distress.
Insurrectionists felt that Biden was really singling them out and bullying them, he said. The entire speech was extremely triggering from an insurrectionist point of view.

(82,849 posts)We went to the State Fair yesterday, an event that draws people from all over the state in an interesting (to me) mix of folks across all spectra. It was a bit weird to see some folks trying their darnedest to provoke something. One guy in a black t-shirt that read "Fuck You You Fucking Fuck" and others using similar language to defend their views on faith and firearms. Nearly all of them sporting a sticker from a Republican candidate who had a booth in one of the exhibit halls. Charming people.
Our little group was conscientious about wearing our masks at all times indoors of the exhibit halls and livestock pavilions. I was sort of hoping someone would have something snotty to say about it, but nobody did. My ready-to-hand response was going to be, "Thank you for your unsolicited opinion. I wear a mask to remind myself to mind my own business."
