Possible heads up for people looking to get their next COVID booster

Stunning incompetence from @cvspharmacy. After taking COVID booster appointments online, including all insurance info, they are canceling appointments one hour in advance if insurance does not cover CVS.

They will not take cash, period.

This is happening to numerous patients.

What a way to set back public health, @CVSHealth.

This is an opportunity to get shots in arms. You've got people there who want the shot, scheduled with you, who in some cases drove a long distance, are willing to pay, and you're turning them away.

Unconscionable.

Has anyone had any issues getting the new bivalent booster?

I have no idea how much they would cost even if they would accept payment.

I'm also guessing most of us with private insurers have no idea whether our insurance will pay for it.

Took all of my information online. Sent me a text to confirm appt. Then cancelled and told me they don't have the shots yet.

Store was empty, I was the only one getting a shot.
Got my flu and booster at the same time.

Got my appointment Sunday. Set for 11am today. Got there and pharmacy was closed! They didn't show up! Now were stuck. No vaccine available in my area .Thanks deathsantis.
