It can use the pencil and feels a natural fit with a keyboard (which I use only if I'm working) more so than the air I had before. I can use apps which make it work well for my business and home needs. It has a more than decent rear facing camera for zoom meetings and an excellent front facing camera for pics of the kiddos and kitties, or whatever your groove is.

I think for most folks, the air is perfect. It's powerful, lighter and more easily hand held than the pro. I'd never have changed if not for needing a bigger (but not too big) on the go device.

I'm an Apple person mostly. My work issued me an iPhone some years ago and drew me in. Apple Watch, iPods, MacBook and my iPad. I do have a gaming PC which is windows which I adore, so I guess I'm into both OS's just for different reasons.

I know folks who love their chrome tablet's, too. Those have a windows mode, no app needed I'm told.

It's just a matter of preference. If your phone is android, I'd say go for an android based tablet, same for iOS.

To prove a point that we used to look at photograph entries to our contests on our old clunky desktops.. & now much smaller screens. I am an unofficial... Very unofficial critiquer of photographs

Should I add sizes?

When travelling, on my laptop.

I cannot abide trying to type on a phone, which is why I don't text very much. I'm a very good touch typist, not so good at a finger or two.

I don't use it as an all purpose computer, because the screen is simply to small, and as noted, I can't touch type on it.

I nwver ever had a computer ($) until I was give one from an office upgrade but still couldn't afford WiFi . Thus The Library is my friend. When I did get my first tablet the library offered Free WiFi. (I still take books out but w Covid it's been ebooks)

Finally I got a smartphone (vs previous basic cells) just as NYC was closing down w a a good unlimited talk/text/data plan. 👍

I have a tablet that I have get online with to get it going. I might be able to use the phone as a hotspot for the tablet.
Then I could use that, as well.

With the phone if something intense good or (😔 bad is happening) I can keep tabs on it out and about w my smartphone. 👍

Since I first got a smart phone in 2014, I’ve almost completely stopped using a desktop or laptop computer unless I have serious work to do (word processing, CAD, excel, ….)

I was doing more and more on my iPhone and my computer was constantly having some kind of problems or bugs regardless of the anti-bug programs that I had installed. My life seems to be much easier now. One stop shopping.
