General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsToday I posted how stupid the Trump judge was getting involved in the secret document investigation.
Now we learn some of the secret documents found were about another nations defense capabilities, including nuclear secrets. This judge is in way over her head getting involved, disrupting an extremely serious national defense investigation. She, like all of us had no idea how much worse things could get. You have to be out of your mind to treat this case the way she is. Now we get a leak. Now we know this is really, really bad and will most likely get worse.
This judge is an idiot.

(24,393 posts)Oh wait, she probably did...but thought that the DOJ wouldn't release it. Now, her reputation is total toast.
Guess the DOJ isn't too worried about this jurist's reputation....she's already signaled where her allegiance lies.

(11,096 posts)She understands the Republican standards for appointing judges. Experience or even a modicum of legal understanding is irrelevant.
If she harbors any hope of elevation to a federal circuit court or (God forbid) SCOTUS, all that matters is blind loyalty to Trump. The decision is a job application.

https://www.esquire.com/news-politics/politics/a41106889/aileen-cannon-trump-special-master/
The federal judge who issued an unusual Labor Day ruling appointing a special master to review thousands of files seized from the 45th presidents Mar-a-Lago estate issued a brief order on Tuesday refusing to allow several onetime GOP officials from filing an amicus brief in opposition to the special master appointment. In late August, several anti-Donald Trump former officials who served under Republican administrations moved to submit a friend of the court document that would help U.S. District Judge Aileen M. Cannon sort through the various legal issues at stake in the unprecedented criminal inquiry into the former U.S. head of state.
Cannon, in a paperless order with one sentence of explanation, dismissed the need for the ex-federal and state officials thoughts on the matter. Upon review of the Motion, the Court appreciates the movants willingness to participate in this matter but does not find the proposed appointment of amici curiae to be warranted, the judge wrote. Additionally, six other attorneys sought leave from the court in pro hac vice motions to formally take part in the case as the counsels-of-record for the seven anti-Trump prospective amici. The Trump-appointed district judge denied those efforts as well.

Trump's attorney if record in the document is known to have lued on document for obstruction charge, should likely have led to warrant for phone. Text, and email.
I would bet dollars to donuts that there was ex parte communication. This judge is going down for obstruction and hopefully espionage as well.

(2,258 posts)The DOJ already warned her about an obstruction charge, that seems a safe bet. I doubt that it would have gone into the first set of document if they didn't already have her dead to rights if she ruled in his favor.
Espionage is wishful thinking for everyone involved given the contents of the documents and their classifications.

(133 posts)Trump's election win in 2016 is highly suspect. Shenanigans in just enough counties/states to give in the electoral college delegates.
His 'Job' was to :
1) Undermine NATO
2) Compromise the European Union
3) Undermine US Electoral Process
4) Appoint comprised judges and political officials.
5) Steal National Security secrets
6) Spread Lies, threats, hate, racial/ethnic violent speech to split this country
Why?
Trump is owned by Putin.
Trump would take the US down and Putin would have his revenge.
