Garland’s DOJ, on the other hand, has been extremely disciplined and leak-free, to the point that numerous DUers presumed that DOJ was doing absolutely nothing regarding the investigation and prosecution of Trump’s crimes.

The single source of the info on nuclear secrets is credited to a “person familiar with the search and seized documents”. That could absolutely be one of Trump’s crazy lawyers, one of his kids, or Trump himself. Some of the recent leaks have contained information (medical records)that isn’t even known to the counterintelligence agent in charge of the search, Bratt, because the specifics on the documents have been filtered away from the investigation team.
