SC will kill Biden's student loan forgiveness program.

Republicans are keeping this quiet until after elections, but they are counting on the trump court to kill the program.

Democrats need to make this part of their campaigns. And those who celebrated the end of their debt should brace themselves for disappointment.

I've read about alternative plans that Biden is considering, but I worry anyway.

What’s Congress going to do? Impeach him? It’s not like they are going to be able to get the money back if he does it.

10. What do you mean by not being able to get the money back?

It would just go back to where people still owed the money same as before

They would want the banks to charge interest for all the time the debt was held.

Those who owe should know about the republican's plans before the election.

6. When you are talking about a non-political judicial system, you would be right.

But with Roe and the recent TFG "special master" rulings, it's clear that republicans (both on and off the court) will invent some non-sensical reasons to get ruling that they want.

7. We need to expand the SCOTUS the instant the new Democratic Senators are sworn in in January.

Yes, I am confident we'll make gains in the Senate, and the House, as well.

It's time for President Biden to say; "they've made their ruling, let them enforce it".

I know. Why don't we just write a new constitution where we get to do what we want and ignore precedent? I think there is already a party that wants to do that. Biden said he thought that was a bad thing.

The constitution could use some updating, but until there is a constitutional convention (or armed coup) we are stuck with the one we have. There are many ways to ameliorate the problem - most of them involving voting - but becoming just like the other guys isn't a good one.
