Our country, our democracy will survive the Terror of Trump. Some people say nothing like this has never happened before in our history. They are correct, that is why this is so frightening, it seems hopeless at times.

However, our civil war never happened before. The Great Depression never happened before. WWII never happened before. 911 never happened before.

Things are very bad right now and they will most likely become much worse. In the end we will survive the Terror of Trump.

with the revelations out of Florida that he sold secret gov docs and most likely shared or sold them to/with adversarial governments. He's toast as a presidential nominee. He may not know it yet but no traitor/spy is going to bet elected president.

Trumpism will live on with wannabes but women and men absolutely pissed at the Dobbs ruling which took establish rights away will have a huge say this Nov. as to whether trumpism survives for long or begins to whither on the vine.

IMO, women and democracy will win.

The fascists have littered our local, state and federal governments with lackies and interlopers. A corrupt judiciary is more concerning than Trump and his cronies any day. We need to vote like crazy in November. We need to be able to pull out the weeds, roots and all. If they continue to grab power, our ability to reclaim our democracy will diminish significantly.

And we are now at the point where the evil has clearly reached an insane point of contradiction: sabotaging the nation to “make it great”. There is little or no sense left of “I did this for the country” versus “I did this to feed my endless greed, ego, spitefulness and delusion”. I believe that some of the truly gonzo (and there will always be a certain percentage of them) have internalized this, but like “The Man Who Would Be King,” when *many* people see that you are not immortal, be it a little flesh wound or an indictment for stealing government property, or espionage, they drop you.

Who’s to say that the failed impeachment trials didn’t make that bit of difference needed to turn the tide? Some wags are now saying so. I thought so in late 2020. After all, these hearings were and are the only alternative to bought and sold RW media and “both-siderism”

TFG always was a front-runner of racism and a stooge of Putin. Clear to us, but others are slower to see. And watch when the betrayals on both sides of his “empire” start to really kick in. Billy Barr has already decided that his ass is worth protecting, when he enabled most of it. As with the stories of McConnell having internal battles, the GQP are going to want to repeal the second amendment before they engage in shooting wars, and there are a few spoiling for a gunfight.
