(4,298 posts)Trump has more people working for him inside our homeland security services than we acknowledge, inside the Secret Service, the FBI, the CIA, NSA, and the military. Of course, we all know and acknowledge the ones working for him inside the House and Senate. We can get rid of most of them if we GOTV!
No way to get rid of them either unless a few become whistleblowers.

(84 posts)I have to be continually careful, because I do fear a certain way will be necessary (and has been for some time, because of the infiltration Putin and Trump have in American government)...

(53,767 posts)packing them and smuggling them to MAL and storing them. The idiots who helped will eventually be outed and have to face the consequences. I still don't get why people stick their necks out for that crook.
Justice matters.
(6,925 posts)I have no doubt his illegal "orders" to them (like "gimme that, I'll return 'em later... in two weeks"...)
4,000 times the same "order from gawd himself" right? Not hard to see these corrupt sheep's behavior...

(620 posts)How did TFG come into possession of all of those documents? There is way more to this story and way more people criminally involved.

(10,171 posts)You know he never paid attention during briefings. Its not like he had the where-with-all to figure out which specific documents would benefit him. Maybe he got a list from uncle Vlad to provide some guidance.

(33,310 posts)He told whoever was responsible for whatever document that he was keeping it "for further review" (because he didn't want to look at it then - reading is hard).
He's the POTUS, and he is in command. They said "Yes, Sir" and saluted.
Then he left it on the dining room table and later Hope Hicks stuffed it in a box.

(840 posts)Somebody showed ID and signed them out. Somebody was responsible for signing them back in. Nobody noticed these missing documents?
Who's fingerprints on the docs?

(32,634 posts)We'll probably never know the extent of it. For now, just assume that family, WH staffers and Secret Service details all helped. We'll get this sorted out as soon as Chump's ass is finally in prison.

(9,977 posts)The tracking needs to identify the document, the date it was left with a president, and a return date. Once that date passes, an official goes to the White House and collects the document. Any documents not yet returned within two weeks of the end of a presidency also get an official visit to collect them. The DNI and anyone else who allowed Trump to keep Top Secret documents knew the danger and just ignored it either because they were Trump flunkies or too blasé to do their jobs.

(7,402 posts)Looking for some indication Saddam had WMD?
He could only take the documents to a secure room with cameras to assure he didn't stuff anything in his clothes.
Also, in the case of Trump, he would need an analyst to translate what the document was saying and what that meant. And here we are seeing it was several thousand pages. Trump wouldn't have known what to ask for so who was the inside guy that helped Trump. He did not do this all by himself.

(21,312 posts)Mark Meadows, Trump's Chief of Staff.
The J6 committee tried to question him, even sent a criminal referral to DOJ to indict him.
Kash Patel was definitely involved, and probably John Solomon.
Trump mishandled classified documents for 4 years and no one stopped him, why wouldn't he assume he could do what he wanted?

(4,214 posts)to conclude that some of those around him were assets of foreign intelligence (Russia etc.) and that as they were somewhat privy to four years worth of briefings etc. they would have a good idea of how to home in on asking for/looking for specific subjects that would be of timely importance/value. We already know that the internal administration of the WH was a zoo and never really changed. Omarosa gave us that first glimpse and warning as to the madness going on there. Kelly also remarked about the chaos and it was well known that the insiders and the Orange Ruski were purposely going around any controls he tried to implement.
Also the Orange Ruski openly bragged about having regular "private" phone calls with Vlad and others that kept the content of those calls unknown. Add to that the openly admitted use of burner phones, private encrypted messaging software etc. by those in the inner circle along with other "back channel" communications and the compromise of our classified info by these people was all but certain from the moment he was declared the winner in 2016. It all started as a big grift that they never imagined would turn into an actual victory but when it did they realized immediately they had hit the jackpot for using power to enrich themselves, punish others, get paid for doing the bidding of foreign actors, retaining documents to sell off/use for blackmail and to be able to keep the drooling MAGA rats sending in money to "protect their hero" as the traitorous acts came to light and the government moves forward against the perpetrators.

(58,785 posts)Protective systems were in place. They were SMASHED by a POTUS who used the power voters gave him to smash everything he could and corrupt everyone and everything he could. And his people threatened to smash and destroy those who resisted going along.
Free, prosperous societies are a balancing act -- government strong and able enough to maintain a structure within which to pursue our happiness, citizens engaged enough to direct and keep the government in check.
It's desperately important to only give power to people of good character. In 2016 too many failed to engage to stop the barbarians among us.
