7. The thing is that they might have succeeded had they gone for a full invasion

in 2014 instead of just getting cute with soldiers without insignia they claimed were local resistance fighters. Yeah, right.

Instead, they gave Ukraine 8 years to train their army and resistance fighters

Ukraine didn't have much of a military when they kicked Yanukovych out in 2014 and that was by design, of course. They've certainly got one now and they're cleaning Russia's clock.
