Although many presidents met with Queen Elizabeth, Barack Obama was the only President invited by the Queen to return after he left office. She reportedly regarded him as a pillar of integrity - a man of stability, decency, and rectitude.

From Winston to Tony" the poodle" Blair and a conversation or two with Marge, she's seen the gambit of many English speaking leaders in all their diversity.

was in Great Britain, annoying everyone with his crass and boorish behaviour. At one point, you see charles lift his middle finger, ostensibly to touch his forehead.

I used to do it in meetings, "adjusting" my glasses. A trick taught to me by a mayor.

sort of British since his father was Kenyan and his mother descended from early British colonists in America.

And he exemplified the qualities of integrity, responsibility, and public service, as well as being a compassionate and sincere human being. Who wouldn't try to claim him as at least almost their own?

"As thousands of people demonstrated against President Trump in the UK, Queen Elizabeth II seemed to make a statement of her own by wearing a brooch given as a gift by former President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama.

The Queen donned the American-made, 14-karat yellow gold flower pin during an audience at Windsor Castle the day Trump and the first lady landed in Britain, according to multiple reports."

He was respected by leaders the world over; as opposed to his successor, who was at best an arrogant asshole.
Look down a couple tweets and you'll see him snubbing the Queen. He looks like he's waiting for a bus; one that will take him anyplace other than with the Queen of England.

You're right: she'd never say that within earshot of the press (least of all in Britain!).

But privately, as you know, she was well-known for her sassy sense of humor.

And here, she was spot on.

Oink!

and then, 240 years later, elected a shitpot dictator wannabe who didn't have a tenth of the intelligence needed to be one...

I can only imagine the health damage to someone on the British throne having to see the Colonies so soundly reject everything the founding fathers (rebels) fought for.

"Really? You fought a war against the greatest empire the world has ever seen AND WON, and you voted for a POS stain who wants to install fascism and pretend that freedom equals servitude?"

And that's coming from a monarch who's the proud heir of 500 years of colonizing violence and anti-human atrocities.

That wasn't good enough for our racists, though. Because after O, we had to have Trump. Makes me sick.
