Why are connies such piss poor listeners? Discuss

I have been shouted down when making some points with cons. It’s like pulling teeth or downright impossible getting them to listen or read something. Why is that?

1. They probably say the same about you

You don't read or listen. Why is that?

Personally, I think it a waste of time to debate with true believers. There's nothing I can say that will change their mind.

They might appear cocky, but Deep down, I feel some are insecure.

5. Maybe you're talking sense to them and it interferes with their world view.

When that happens, they feel they are being personally attacked and since they can't regulate their emotions - they go off the deep end.

I haven't heard that? It pisses them off, someone not recognizing their world.

Really, I'm not making that up.

That is one possible explanation.

I have long believed that a lot of the divide between the two parties is a division of personality types.
