I was looking for their reaction to the Cannon rebuttal and saw a post stating that (their words, not mine!) educated liberal women are the biggest threat to democracy. Ok so I kept reading and some fool who has some advanced degrees from somewhere solid, who's been paid to write in substantial newspapers, wrote a hit piece against women. He cherry picked some really stupid meaningless data to "prove" that women don't understand the world as well as men. (Ok, great, guess you're not getting any, huh?)

But it went on to say in many ways that Biden's relying on the women's vote. Pre-19th amendment, no liberals would have been president...

I know that's what these neanderthals believe. I just haven't seen them spell it out so directly before. It went unchallenged, of course.

This is going to get really, really ugly. The norm for not insulting women just because of their gender is burning down.

I always knew right wing extremists wanted half the population subservient. I just thought we were decades beyond seeing in clearly in print.

what can be posted online. Print journalism has governing standards it lives by as it's part of the profession in pursue the 5 Ws... verify sources, seek the truth, etc to avoid libel litigation.

That doesn't exist online for the most part. Oh, for sure the sites of the major news organizations which grew out of print journalism are sound and don't spew misinformation and disinformation but there are millions of sites that do.
