He'd never go, being as he is not the guy in charge, no matter what he says.

That said, Tapper is being slammed on Twitter for even suggesting it. I thought a few of the panelists suggested it.

"As the roses and orchids piled up at her apartment she became increasingly concerned about what she should do. It had begun to feel as if Trump was stalking her."....

"You could've nailed her, right?" Stern asked Trump. Trump replied, "I think I could've."

Then in 2000, Trump once again reminded the world that he had wanted to have sex with Diana, saying, "she was crazy, but those are minor details."

with an invitation extended to President Carter as well (who I expect would not attend due to his health and age). And of course, the wife's (First Ladies) of those presidents; Michelle Obama, Laura Bush, and Hillary Clinton.

The inclusion of Bush will (correctly) be read as a snub of TFG (who should certainly be excluded).

ETA: And President Joe Biden and Dr Jill Biden should (and will) attend.

Her grandfather, Joe Kennedy was US ambassador to UK 1938-1940.

Her aunt, Kathleen Kennedy Cavendish, was married to Lord Hartington, Marquess,
a member of the British aristocracy.

Her parents JFK and Jackie met with QE on a number of occasions.

Nine reigning monarchs at the funeral of King Edward VII

and most of them are related to each other as direct descendants of George II. There's King Philippe of Belgium, Queen Margrethe of Denmark, King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands, King Harald V of Norway, King Felipe VI of Spain, King Carl Gustav XVI of Sweden, Prince Hans-Adam II of Liechtenstein, Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg, and Prince Albert II of Monaco. Since they're cousins of the Windsors I imagine they will all be there. Some will wear medals and sashes, too.

The Nine Sovereigns at Windsor for the funeral of King Edward VII, photographed on 20 May 1910. Standing, from left to right: Haakon VII of Norway, Ferdinand of Bulgaria, Manuel II of Portugal, Wilhelm II of Germany, George I of Greece and Albert I of Belgium. Seated, from left to right: Alfonso XIII of Spain, George V of the United Kingdom and Frederick VIII of Denmark.

The Greek royal family is a branch of the Danish royal family, itself a branch of the House of Glücksburg, that reigned in Greece from 1863 to 1924 and again from 1935 to 1973. Its first monarch was George I, the second son of King Christian IX of Denmark. He was descended from Queen Victoria and a bunch of Germans on his mother's side. All these people are related to each other, which might explain a few things.

My “save one” was, of course referring to Trump.

I was just commenting that he was a Republican.

I remember thinking Bush was the worst president in history, but after Trump, he almost seems like a saint. With all his faults, at least he didn’t try to totally upend our democracy.
