...last weekend was Labor Day weekend...absolutely nothing on broadcast TV about Labor, Unions, their history, what's happening today or advice creating a Labor Union...just regular shitty programming...
...last week the Queen of England died and this weekend we've had nothing but 24/7 wall-to-wall broadcast TV coverage on the Queen and her royal family...this will probably continue for weeks to come...
...Labor/Unions have meant a lot to me over my lifespan providing me and others with an equitable, prosperous, participatory life...
...so, something very important to a working person like me is totally ignored while something totally meaningless to a working person like me is jammed down my throat...
...no wonder why working people like me hate the slimy corporate media in this country...fuck 'em

Anything to distract from and distort actual reality. Sadly, many Americans have the attention span of a gnat. Things that require critical thinking are foreign to them.

Discussing workers interests is not in their agenda.
Its all pomp, ceremony and fairy tales that facilitate them versus we peons.
Imagine making an event over someone saying my darling mama after mama dies.
These people and the media they own love a good meaningless circus.
The Irish Times got that right. They are covering a circus.
