We have some serious nutjobs here going all out against the schools and libraries. Also Patriot Front. So it's a "know your enemy" kind of thing for me.

I belong to an activist group who keeps track of them. We have attended some local library board meetings because libraries here are being attacked.

We are keeping in touch with the Southern Poverty Law Center to see if they can help us get one of these organizations declared a hate group.

It is good to know who they are and how to counter protest. It is good to write LTTEs and to speak up. Some of these groups have a template for what to say at the meetings and for how to write LTTEs. They are quite often not local citizens at all. Make sure you point it out when outside groups begin to interfere in local decision making.

works to undermine the Constitution and Democracy and support Fascism are deniers.
