"Hate" is simply an intense or passionate dislike and I assure you my dislike of the one term twice-impeached failed insurrectionist loser is very intense and passionate.
I have similar feelings about Vladimir Putin, Kim Jong Un, Xi, Adolph Hitler, Pol Pot and others, but none of them is currently leading the effort to destroy America from within. Decent folks intensely and passionately dislike such monsters.
So, call me a "Trump-hater" and I just might bust out my Elvis impersonation and respond "Thangyoo, thangyoo verra much!"

(12,424 posts)It's poison that consumes you.
We all know there is EVIL in the world. In fact there is so much evil in the world that one could stay up nightly for lifetimes hating and then hating some more.
Just do the right thing, daily, love people and things ... that's the answer to EVIL.
Hate just makes them stronger.
Just IMHO.
Feel free to be you.

(5,125 posts)I DO HATE WHAT HE/THEY HAS/HAVE DONE, but these unhinged excuses for human beings don't deserve that level of my concern.
They are beneath contempt. Pitiful examples of what happens when parents are stupid and raise dictators.
BUT if you have the energy to Hate him and them, I can't fault you for it. I get it.
It's a bad thing for my own mental health. I do succumb quite often, but I need to move on and do the things that need to be done, so I have to leave it behind.

(6,068 posts)I don't mind having hate in my heart because it's normal. Humans are not perfect little saints. We love. We hate. Even the most even keeled of us can be violent given the right circumstances.
So, I'm not going to pretend or try to be holier than thou because I'm not.

(265 posts)The next time, some trump loving, holier than thou, ignorant bible thumper, tells me to have a 'blessed day', i'm going to tell them 'praise Jesus' and go 'talk to God'..
I know that's a lot of comas (Sister Louis Joseph) wouldn't like it but I'm tired.

(380 posts)I will never support or vote for Trump or anyone who seeks his endorsement.
This has nothing to do with so-called 'Trump derangement syndrome'
It is simply self-preservation.
Recently, I reached remission of lymphoma after 3 years of various cancer treatments.
I have not forgotten that he wanted to repeal the ACA which provides me protection for pre-existing conditions and life time limits.
If he had been successful, not sure I would had achieved remission.

(10,778 posts)I used to laugh at his TV show, because I knew his real record of business failures, and his playing a business genius was one of those early shows that put the quote marks around "reality TV." But ever since I learned about him stiffing contractors, my amusement turned to total contempt. My father was a drywall contractor, and like most, he worked in the trade many years before he started his own business, and it was tremendously hard work to make it successful. My brother took over the business and made a good life for himself by working hard. Some people lost their business because this fat, self-satisfied piece of shit -- whose daddy bought him a business that he ran into the ground -- figured he could get away with cheating them. Trump, who never did an honest day's work in his life, is simply despicable, and always has been.

(21,105 posts)I hate a lot of things, and in turn people who willing cause those things to happen.
I could list 1000 things that I hate and would not be ashamed of any of them.
Starting with murder, rape and the willful harm of the innocent. And I HATE those that commit those atrocities.
The list is almost endless.

(3,121 posts)I can look at Putin and tfg with words that describe how dangerous and evil they are. But I don't regard them as human, let alone objects of hatred. Hate is too good for them, because it means they are recognized. I would like to erase them, and if people (including media) ignore them they will be erased. Since that isn't going to happen, then I will be thankful when they are dead. Soon.
