In all seriousness, the 'burbs are nastier. Unscientific and anecdotal, but I find people within the city to be more polite and helpful. They are colder and more entitled in the 'burbs. JMO

Go down South and they are all smiles to Northerners, all while talking trash about them behind their backs.
Move to some of those towns and try to set up a store, and you will be shunned by the locals.
You could live there for 20 years and still be treated as an outcast, as they try to drive you out of town.
