Granted, $2.97/gal is only available when using a linked bank card, but even $3.27/gal is none too shabby.

(9,067 posts)Goofy state. It's been about $5-$5.50 for going on about six weeks now. Whenever I see these stories about declining gas prices, it's "Must be nice!"
I vaguely know why our prices are different. However, I often think, "Probably lucky for us California's a blue state." Because we're not getting any of this relief.

(9,067 posts)I live near I-80 and 12, and I swear to god, my entire neighborhood is, "What drought?" I leave around 5:30 most mornings to walk to gym, and all the sprinklers are blazing. You'd think we lived on an actual golf course.
I keep waiting for a collective note to be pinned to our door, because we have one of the brownest lawns in the neighborhood. Yeah, because I'm not paying for that in 116 degree heat.
All our public lands are similarly emerald, however the city uses reclaimed water for that bit.
