Zelensky says it’s ‘not even possible’ that Trump did not recognize Putin threat

BY JULIA MUELLER - 09/11/22 9:48 PM ET

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he was surprised by former President Trump’s continued praise of Russian President Putin even after Moscow invaded Ukraine, given how much information Trump was privy to about the fellow world leader.

“I believe he had enough time, plenty of time, to understand who Putin is,” Zelensky told CNN’s Fareed Zakaria in an interview aired Sunday.

“I think he was sitting at such a high position where it’s not even possible not to recognize that [Putin] is the opponent in terms of values to your own people. He [Trump] has all the might of this country — intelligence, data — to create [a] psychological profile.”

Zelensky said he was “surprised” at Trump’s behavior “even after the beginning, with a full-fledged invasion.”

Never forget Trump was impeached for blackmailing Zelensky. He was trying to hand Ukraine over the Russia from day 1.

If Trump had succeeded just a little bit more, he would have supported the Ukraine being dropped into Putin's pocket, aided by his own newly fascist USA. He would not have given a shit what the western world thought about it. Trump did and does see the US remodeled after the Putin style of perpetual and all-powerful presidency.

Trump is even now trying to undermine US foreign policy, tipping scales like an invisible little hand, with his stolen top-secret treasure trove. That's possibly the real reason behind his not being in custody already.

He is a simpleton. His one track narcisstic mind is easy to read. The trouble was, this selfish idiot, was given unlimited power and nobody had the courage or sense of duty to stop him. It is scary how so many others, in power, are corrupt themselves and are willing to destroy our democracy to satisfy their greedy lusts. It is nauseating how our media enabled this narcisstic imbecile and were willing to watch him create chaos throughout the World and not make it their main focus. He could have been stopped early if any major news service actually reported the truth about the dangers of having a mentally ill person in charge of our nation.
