It amazes me how overtly fascist Fox news is.

Fox pushes the notion of the "other" as the enemy, made abundantly clear with their "Outnumbered" segment where they do the bulk of their immigrant bashing. Stunningly nationalistic and racist. God forbid some of those brown people leak into your town and take away your job.

They tell you to do this. They have this diabolical scheme. They want to control you. THEY are everywhere!!!

The other thing that nonFix viewers don’t see is their complete obsession with other networks ratings. They mention and post about it constantly. Oh and almost every commercial break fix tells the viewers that Fox is #1 in the ratings.

it means less and less all the time. Sure they're #1 on cable news, but that's a shrinking demographic.

BTW the OP mentioned Outnumbered- it’s totally a legs and boobs show. The first time I saw it even as a guy I thought “Geez this is just a skin show for old men watching at home”. Jr’s girlfriend used to be on one of the ends, for silhouette purposes.

Fox has no shame. I guess they don't have to since there will always be people willing to watch.

When it started I remember scrolling thru channels and BAM! Woah! Who’s this? Sorry I was a youngish single guy. I think that’s the draw for the old guys. A little tease even with their wife in the room. That holds them and the propaganda takes over.

Ailes knew what he was doing.

O’Reilly was the old guy behind the desk. Hannity is behind a desk. When Megyn Kelly was on between them - clear plastic desk so you could see all of her. Oh and the camera angle on Fox n Friends is a little higher than the almost-a-peek level pointed directly at the blonde sitting in the middle.

Being openly fascist allowed the others to just be relatively moderate corporate authoritarian.

I don't buy that it is all about ratings and advertiser buys. I believe it is part of an orchestrated campaign of propaganda.

They're telling their viewers to ban books and other programming they deem as "woke". Hell some of their hosts have suggested things like bringing back concentration camps. It's insane. Fox News is a clear and present danger to this country.

Of course, a very small percentage of their viewers are smart enough to know antifa is short for anti-fascist.

14. Roger Ailes appreciated Leni Riefenstahl

As Rupert Murdoch’s hand-picked stooge to found Fox News, Ailes brought to the United States of America what NAZI Germany would be like with television, the Fourth Reich’s tool for controlling minds. Ailes said he admired Leni Riefenstahl, Hitler's favorite NAZI filmmaker.

According to the new biography (and a history going back a ways in GOP circles), The Loudest Voice In The Room: How The Brilliant, Bombastic Roger Ailes Built Fox News — And Divided A Country:

Ailes was “a big fan” of Leni Riefenstahl, Hitler’s notorious favorite filmmaker—not for her Nazi ideology but for her cinematic talent as a propagandist. “Ailes was especially taken by Riefenstahl’s use of camera angles.”

Terry Gross of Fresh Air interviewed Gabriel Sherman, the guy who wrote, the book.

This is the kind of information that Fox viewers might appreciate knowing before watching their television screens.

Something everyone should know: Roger Ailes and the Big Money has been in bed with Big NAZI for a long time.
