A HERETIC I AM

"My mother was chased to her death while in a relationship with someone who wasn't white" ....

"and now look what's happened. You want to talk about history repeating itself? They're not going to stop till she dies." - Prince Harry, referencing his mother, Princess Diana while speaking about his wife and the racism and trauma Meghan Markle is and has been going through.

I found this on Twitter. It is an incredibly moving 7 minutes of video where Harry shares how difficult it has been for the both of them to deal with the racism aimed at them from the British press and elsewhere.

If you had any questions about why they moved away from England, this should dispel them.

Edit to say I found the source, it is from a Documentary on Apple TV called "The Me You Can't See" If you haven't seen this segment, it's well worth the watch

They still settle arguments the old fashioned way: a good old slobber knocker of a fist fight instead of using guns.

Who knows, if guns were as easy to obtain in the U.K. they might be as violent and gun-happy us we Yanks.

It's heartbreaking when Harry says that he knows his family cannot give him what he needs. (Support for him and his wife.) What a blow to face, but good on him for recognizing it and taking action.

Also, huge props to him for speaking out so openly and honestly about mental health.

Harry has grown up to be every bit his mother's son in all the best ways. Leaving royalty behind and taking his wife and children away from the UK media cauldron was the right decision. I wish them all the best.

… a very private family funeral with no royal pomp. The divorcee, after all, was not really part of their family any more, but she was the mother of the boys — well, all families have to deal with this kind of thing these days.

The boys were visiting at Balmoral when Diana died — talk about being sheltered. It was there that the news was broken to them.

Meanwhile, the public was piling flowers around the castle, and demanding some acknowledgment from Charles and the Queen. Public sentiment and grief for The People’s Princess was running high. I think it was Charles who finally told his mother what was really going on, and she went out to greet her people and look at the flowers and messages of condolence.

Plans changed. I remember the boys walking too — but honest to god I thought they had asked to be part of their mother’s funeral.

That is all.

Indeed. He does seem to have learned how to deal with this enormous difficulty. I hope the both of them continue to recover from the abuse they have been subjected to.

And the worst, are the ones on the right who remains silent and allow these people to fester

In this country the south was not punished for the Civil war. They continued with their racism like nothing occurred. They continue to celebrate the treason of the Civil war with flags and statues. The south still fights the civil war.
We allow them to do this!
In Germany the German people are not allowed to display ANYTHING referring to the nazi period. The German penal code prohibits publicly denying the Holocaust and disseminating Nazi propaganda!
We pat the south on the head and turn the other cheek.
That said the statues are starting to come down.
Understand what I have posted are facts. We must make it stop.

He is such a vile asshole. He's written a piece that appears on the SkyNews Australia website about them. As one person mentioned, it's as if Meghan indicated they won't be friends a million years ago and Morgan just can't get over it.

I'm by no means a "watcher" of the royal family, but the blatant racism against the two of them is what is so absurd to me.

Her boyfriend was a millionaire partier who could easily have had dinner in their suite upstairs, never needing a car to go anywhere.

Diana had voluntarily dumped her British security force.

She got in the car with a drunk driving, who then drove at high speed, and she didn't wear her seat belt.

Tragic, but this story has been twisted.

The truth is out there and not in the least hard to find.

Seriously.

And why so many provable, demonstrable LIES from her? There's a REASON the Obamas have distanced themselves from them.
