Surge of police officers resigning in Russian-held Kherson

In Russian-occupied Kherson, local police officers appointed by Russian invasion forces are massively filing resignation papers.

That’s according to an informed source in law enforcement, who spoke with Ukrinform.

The agency’s interlocutor says, against the backdrop of the Ukrainian Army’s recent battlefield successes in the region, the number of police officers, who are ready to quit service after flipping to the Russian side just months ago, has increased significantly.

Well, well, well the Putin enabled invaders are finally seeing the writing on the wall.

He's sick enough, that he won't live long enough to re-build and attempt revenge.

Even if they were ethnic Russians who took on local jobs with the invaders because 'safety' or some misguided attempt to be more relevant in the new Russo-Ukraine state that they thought they would be part of when the invasion began.

There's going to have to be some sort of truth and reconciliation program to re-incorporate the leftovers from the Soviet era, Russian speaking Ukraninians who are afraid of 'The West' but still want to live peacefully in the villages their parents or grandparents were sent to in one of those old Soviet peasant/worker relocation plans.

Ukraine will have regain their Kherson and majority of what Russia tried to take. Hopefully Ukraine can negotiate with Russia to get their people back from Russia.
