General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsHas there been any video footage of Lindell's "sieged phone" by the FBI in front of Hardees episode?
Skimming through threads related to this story and not finding any. Perhaps I missed or overlooked an OP with video(s)?
I understand not every raid is accompanied by the press, but gosh it would seem customers would have filmed this very dramatic event.
I remain highly skeptical about everything I've read of this story. In fact, it is my belief (until proven otherwise) that it's pure invention to scam magats for his own personal financial gain.
But perhaps there is a Justice Dept spokesperson confirmation announcement or video recording of this weird event which I missed?

(7,272 posts)So far as I can tell, he's the only one "reporting" this out other than publications repeating but qualifying with the words "He Says".
So far, I'm not seeing anything else that actually backs up and confirms the essential narrative with actual facts.
Therefore, I remain skeptical.. until reliable sources gives weight to veracity.

They could merely tell a reporter "no such seizure was conducted".
And they would.

(7,272 posts)Interestingly none of the other customers bothered to capture it on their phones. maybe it was done discreetly.

(7,272 posts)the matter is no longer in question for me, appreciate the response.
I do find it rather interesting it was executed at a burger joint. LOL!
I mean, it wasn't as if he was an active shooter. Why not seize it at his place of residence, I wonder.
curious, that's all.
And so Lindell's go fund me thingy is a legitimate pursuit. I hope there's "treasure" to be gained form his phone. if it;s the same account he's been using since 2020 or earlier even.

(46,312 posts)First off, was there an actual warrant issued?
Apparently, yes.
Why was a warrant needed or asked for?
Sounds to me like Lindell refused to hand over his phone in regards to an investigation.
This isn't an FBI "out of control," in fact they did everything by the book.
