(10,156 posts)Never had any fucking monuments to their generals or anything. It should have been. Confederate flags and anything to do with that is outlawed in the United States from that point on.

(4,656 posts)In Massachusetts, you'd be putting people out in the western half of the state, or the southeast, rather than in the Boston area where the jobs and resources are.
It's better to think about how to help these people than how to manipulate them further.

(15,265 posts)and need workers should be welcoming these migrants with open arms. FEMA can help manage the housing situation and the state and federal gov't can expedite their processing. Biden can probably redirect emergency relief $s from TX and FL to help the states cope with their new residents.
One thing I would not do, even if it can be done, is try to legally enjoin TX and FL from sending these migrants north.
I do think the whole stunt is backfiring on DeSantis now that it's been reported he used taxpayer dollars to send his migrants to MA.
