I hope that isnt the case, but if the charges come from state level? I would be fine with that too!

(720 posts)And his children and Jared and Lara too. And Kimberly, that evil ghoul. And Melon. And all of the grifting lawyers, who also should be disbarred in every applicable state. And conehead Stone and so many others. If it gets around pardons, I say go for it.

(15,298 posts)The sooner the miserable Asspickle is put somewhere he can't do further harm, the better this entire world will be.
In fact, it may be too late for America.
This fucking country made Donnie fucking Dipshit the most powerful man on the world.
Doing that for a single day was enough to destroy America, and her had 4 years.
I'm sorry, but I am beginning to believe we don't recover from this.
It's not only that he was selected as the leader of the free world. It's that our neighbors, co-workers, friends, people we go to church with and family members thought making him the most powerful man in the world was a good thing.
You might as well ask how Russia ever recovers from Putin, oh how Al Qaeda ever recovers from Osama Bin Laden.
You don't recover from that. You burn it all down and start anew.

(6,462 posts)Not unless they let out of prison every last one of the spies we have imprisoned for far, far, far less than what Trump has done.
He will remain a danger to our country as long as he is allowed to walk free. What's the roll for state charges? I want at least 20 years. Also, don't forget that he attempted to overthrow the Government, got people killed, and corrupted the Judiciary, and G-d knows what harm he did to our National Defense, now and in the future.
DOJ WILL indict him; there will be no adequate reason not to do so. He thinks he's cute now, what with Cannon and all, but at some point we will get him for at least those charges under the Espionage Act.

(2,190 posts)If he gets away with the federal crimes it still shows that the rule of law is pretty much ignorable and we have to depend on states to attempt to keep things together, some will do so others will laugh at it.
