EBT down and I haven't seen any news. Did I miss this on DU?

EBT is still down this morning. I am not on it but I know people that are. Neighbors are helping them buy food and food banks are open.

1. That was from August

The article you posted was dated August 28th. EBT had gone down nationwide, though mostly on the east coast, for nearly 12 hours on that day. It was a very chaotic Sunday. The system wasn't processing cards so people couldn't pay for food and the website access was also down. It was reported and there was a lot of discussion about it on various social media.

There were pockets yesterday where parts of the system was down, but moreso in the Northeast than nationwide. From all that I read, the websites were the problem. There wasn't a huge systemwide issue with people unable to use their cards like August 28th.

I'm on it and in PA. No issues here when I shopped yesterday. I'm in several grpups for support/troubleshooting and I read a good stamps reddit sub and there is nothing like the panic of August 28th. Hopefully, any issues resolve quickly so people can eat.

2. North Carolina still down but I can't find out if any other states are.

The government is doing a lousy job. They didn't notify people when it went down and still have not notified people when they will be able to use their cards. I wish people in other states would post here if their state is down.
