What was immigration like when the Constitution was written?

All these "originalists" and "conservatives" who love the 2nd amendment and want the country to function like it did nearly 250 years ago, and a SCOTUS who denies rights to women because "abortion" isn't mentioned in the Constitution: what about immigration? Was a "WALL" ever mentioned in the Constitution?

Seems their hypocrisy needs to bite them in the ass.

Now that was originalism/originalist in the Constitution.
