Tweeted Newsom: “Hey Ron, clearly you’re struggling, distracted, and busy playing politics with people’s lives. Since you have only one overriding need — attention — let’s take this up & debate. I’ll bring my hair gel. You bring your hairspray. Name the time before Election Day.”

I was shocked to find that Newsom is 10 years older than DeSantis.

Newsom looks 40, 45 tops... he's 54.

14. Any debate challenge, in and of itself, changes the historical stereotype of the Democratic Party.

It's a great move for all campaigning Democrats to challenge their Rapublican opponents to debates.
These challenges show the party's trust in Americans' ability to understand politics, policy and just which party's got governance and which party's got nothing. Rapublicans' refusals prove that right off the bat.

It's time to show America what a deep bench of smarts, morality and can-do this party really has.
Of course the other party backs down; they can't bear to face a thinking public or Democrats who make the public think even more.
