I've read niece Mary's first book where she tells several stories about her Aunt Maryanne, and this is one of them.

I can't remember when Maryanne actually retired but it was after the story came out about how the siblings allowed Donald to screw niece Mary and her brother out of the inheritance that was owed to her late father, Freddy, the oldest brother. Niece Mary brought a lawsuit against all the siblings a few years ago, and now they aren't on speaking terms.

Also there was considerable tax-swindling going on with the Chump properties after the father Fred died. Again it was Donald acting on behalf of all the siblings, and they kept quiet and took the proceeds from Donald's illegal finagling. Maryanne Chump Barry has kept quiet about her brother Donald for way, way too long.
