(7,263 posts)It is the future. THAT is where we are engaging GenZ.
I'm an old fuck, but I understand Social Media is the wave of today and the future.
TikTok, Twitter and to a lesser extent Facebook and Instagram are all platforms we need to maintain a strong presence on.
DU'ers need to heart and retweet as many friendly tweets as possible. By the MILLIONS.
I could give a fuck about click bait except that it shows how popular a meme is and who is actually seeing it. This is what advertisers, pollsters and political media directors look at. We. Progressives. Have. to. dominate.
And it is SOOOO easy to spot fake Q or Russian accounts with just a little bit of practice. Report the hell out of them, then block them.
Every single one.
This i not about what I like or don't like. Personally I think Social Media is a pain, but it is here to stay.
WE NEED SOCIAL MEDIA on OUR SIDE to WIN in ROEVEMBER.

(19,038 posts)Kansas beat the polls by 20 full points. Abortion is on the ballot literally in several places, but in every single race abortion is the major issue.
There really is a chance Dems beat polling by several points all across the country.

I spent the last 5 days on a trade show floor with several Republican coworkers. We talked (like ya do) when times were slow.
Not one of them is planning to vote Republican in Nov. Not. One.
I was fascinated by that and asked why.
Here are their answers. 🧵/1
Coworker 1: Republican from Ohio.
Says he cant vote Republican because he has a daughter and he doesnt want her rights taken away.
See - she was raped in college and got pregnant from it. Abortion meant she didnt commit suicide (but came close).
3/ (Sorry - missed the 2 on the last one)
Coworker 2: Young female from Oklahoma.
Wont vote Republican because she isnt married and has gynecological problems. Shes terrified she wont be able to carry and will die from complications if she cant get an abortion.
4/Coworker from TN. Republican middle aged man.
Says he wont vote Republican because his 20-something kids dont want babies yet and need birth control.
And he thinks AR-15s should be outlawed (his words).
He doesnt support Democrats, so he just wont vote.
5/ Coworker from WA.
Middle aged male. Democrat. Wants to know wtf is wrong with Texas. (He knows I live in TX.)
Hates the political stunts with immigration (his grandparents were refugees).
Also wants his daughter to have choices for her future.
6/Coworker from FL. Male. Unknown political affiliation.
He doesnt want his wife and daughters to lose the ability to determine their own futures. Has sisters and says they deserve the right to choose their own paths.
Grandparents immigrated to US.
/7 I just listened. I asked a few questions but did not initiate the conversations.
But this is VERY telling. Republican tactics are not working.
As more than one said: theyre just really loud about their stupidity.😳😂
Faith in humanity restored. /end
Update! This took off unexpectedly.
Thank you all for your comments and follows. Ill follow back as I can. Getting on a plane home soon.
Please remember were all people. We all deserve our rights, our freedom, and our own voices in our govt.
Be kind, and vote!💙
