Russia committing more war crimes as they burn whole villages down with incendiary cluster munitions

I guess this was a recently liberated Ukrainian Village, being the sore losers that the Russians are, they set the whole thing ablaze with an indiscriminate barrage of incendiary cluster munitions. The scene is horrifying and yet almost eerily beautiful watching thousands of burning flares descend.

I find it horrifying and the music is bizarre. It doesn't convey the horror. chowder66 Sep 2022 #1

Looks like a bunch of falling stars until you realize what's going on. Then the horror strikes.

White phosphorus, something we used extensively in Fallujah in 2004, has had a serious long term impact on the people that continue to live in that city. The rate of birth defects and cancer were higher in Fallujah 10 years after Operation Phantom Fury than Nagasaki and Hiroshima after we dropped nuclear bombs.

Somebody happened to be perfectly positioned for the proper few minutes?
