ACTIVIST GROUP FLOODS VETERANS CRISIS LINE WITH PROTEST CALLS

As a Jan. 6 activist group encouraged its followers to flood the national Veterans Crisis Line — or 988 — to “let them know” the group’s political views, one veteran on the other side of the country came within minutes of completing suicide when she was unable to reach help in a desperate moment.

The call for prank phone calls came from a group calling itself the 1776 Restoration Movement, during a live webstream of the group’s Monday, Sept. 19, protest in Washington, DC. The group refers to those facing Jan. 6-related charges as “political prisoners” and to the jails some are in as the “DC Gulag.”

Today these Anti-American extremist, organized a call-In action to clog the VA Suicide crisis line as a sick politician stunt.

We have over 20 veterans commit suicide a day, 1 call to that line can save a life, and these folk cared about that 0%.

And then arrest any of these magats? I sure hope so... as someone who is desperately fighting a very bad case of depression at the moment, I can imagine being someone at the other end of a busy signal of a lifeline call. I hate these people. I want them to get what's coming to them in every possible way.

I'm a veteran. Before retiring, I worked Army DoD at one of the Army colleges. I've had students commit suicide in the restrooms. We even had a commander commit suicide in his office - not more than 10 steps away from our desks. This is an epidemic, and has been for years.

So has women being assaulted and raped in the military by their cohorts. I've been advocating for decades to take it away from military hierarchy and put it into civilian law enforcement. It's been fought every step of the way. For truth, I was one of those who was assaulted, back in 1974, when I was one of the first flights of female law enforcement to hit the Air Force. It's never been easy for women in the military, but still we commit to protecting our country.

This stunt, beats it all, though. Surely we have reverse lookup available on phone lines.
