If I remember correctly it took about 6-7 years before the American people got sick of burying their sons from the Vietnam war.

Putin probably has at least another 12 months of this kind of luck before he has to start worrying about his head. He still stands to lose a lot more from accepting defeat than he does from holding out for a miracle.

Tom is a threat to Jerry. Jerry is only an annoyance to Tom.
