If you are planning on being cremated... organ donation is a wonderful gift

Statistics show more people are now cremated as opposed to full body burial in the US.. If the full 48% or more of us actually donated our organs it would be such a gift to those who could use them to extend their lives.. We are making ashes of the rest of our bodies.. just something to think about.

have to do? I also realize that as I get older my organs are of less value. I don't even know, at 64 if there is anything anyone would want.

and that is in my medical record..and there is a point of aging out for things like bone marrow.. but if they can use any of my organs for research, or replacement .. they are there for the taking.. because I have already made my arrangements to be cremated.. so the researchers and physicians at the time of my death can make that decision..

I'm 75, probably not much use for my organs by the time I croak.
My license has the organ donation symbol on it anyway.
