Sweet vindication - Judge Cannon implements the 11th Circuit opinion

Following the 11th Circuit's stay, Judge Cannon amends her special master order, excluding approx 100 documents marked classified from the review of what may be personal/privileged.

The ~100 documents bearing classified markings have been removed from the Special Master's review process, allowing DOJ to resume using them in its criminal investigation.

Of the list of confiscated papers I have seen, that is about the only thing I can think of that is not sensitive or government property under the laws extant. I can't believe any self respecting lawyer can defend Trump in this case. I guess a $3 million retainer does get you something.

To get the case to being even talked about. W Mr Thomas as the Justice to say Y/N to putting it to that vote it might get voted upon, but I doubt they'd overrule. Plus the DOJ is now working at breakneck speed to utilize those secret documents to cement their case. It will be moot by next week.

They had a case on National Archives records, and ruled 8-1 against him. Only Thomas backed him. Now that so much attention is focused on his treasonous wife, he would either abstain or vote with majority.

A lot of legal rules are to prevent implementing force of persuasion on the judiciary, which is what we want, despite the obvious lack of talent of Judge Cannon.
