(6,513 posts)Dearie hired another Judge with Top Secret clearance to assist him at $500 an hour! I'll bet they object to that!
They'll have only 4 days to respond to the list, and it will be their only opportunity to object to the property list and such. The timeline is very, very tight. Dearie's language is terse. The Gov can hire anybody they want to meet the deadline, but Trump has only his attorneys plus whoever they can find to meet the deadline. I guess if you have a $3 million retainer, you can get somebody.
I think that we are all going to be interested in what they say about why this mess isn't in the warrant court. Could he recommend that the case be transferred to the other Court? What impact would that have? Except to get it away from Cannon?
