A Jan. 6 rioter and alleged Nazi sympathizer who once likened the attack on the U.S. Capitol to the Civil War has been sentenced to four years behind bars, according to CNN.
Timothy Hale-Cusanelli, an ex-U.S. Army reserve officer, was convicted this past May of five charges related to the events of Jan. 6, including a felony obstruction charge. In addition, Hale-Cusanelli will serve three years of supervised release following his sentence, and must also pay $2,000 in restitution.
During the sentencing, Hale-Cusanelli begged the judge for forgiveness, according to CNN, saying that he had "disrespected my uniform," and that the judge would "never see [his] face again."
Seems to me he has to admit tfg is a con man and has done great harm to our country and its Constitution. Then, maybe, he could be believed.

(8,387 posts)People here would go on about "coddling criminals," but our prison system appears to make a significant proportion of the inmates into more dangerous criminals than when they entered.
It should be about 'what outcomes do we want'. These things can be measured, but nobody wants to hear about it.

(24,236 posts)of them will violate the terms of their supervised release and wind up back in prison not once but many times. Some will spend their whole life in that revolving door.
I have little hope that many of them will ever lead productive lives, and I doubt many of them have since the day they were born.

And have it played of Fox News at least once in order for them to get out.
Think Fox would help out all those Fellow Patriots that way?
Hahahahahhaa...no, I didn't either.
