If you haven't noticed, he's totally lost it. His belief that, "I can declassify secret information with my thoughts," borders on what any reasonable human being might consider to be insane.
As the walls/law close in on him, from the DOJ, to various State investigations, and public opinion, he becomes more desperate. And there may be nothing more dangerous than an ignorant, arrogant, narcissist, who is the leader/icon/"god" of a cult of millions of people.
Trump, and pricks such as Lindsey Graham, have threatened violence in the streets if "Dear Leader" is indicted for anything. In short, Trump, Graham and others believe they can end our democracy by publicly and loudly telling us that they will unleash their thugs upon America if/when we fight back.
Time to stop listening to their bullshit. If they unleash their thugs, Joe Biden can "unleash" the United States military forces to crush these domestic enemies.
Yes, it may get ugly for a while. But we will not cave to their threats. Rather, various prosecutors should enhance and speed up their efforts to stop this madman and those weak minded enough to believe and follow him.
But let's not underestimate this crazed, "cornered animal." He will do anything and everything to save his ass, even if it means destroying America in the process. He cannot be permitted to do this. Perhaps it's time to deport/exile him to save our country. There's nothing in the Constitution that covers this current situation, or saving ourselves from a madman, but the Constitution isn't a suicide pact. Time to rid ourselves of the crazy.

(111,079 posts)He will be inciting his people to violence. I don't know if anyone can get a restraining order to prevent him from "terroristic threatening"? It can be a felony in the state of KY. It has different penalties in different states.

It is a felony under federal law to intentionally solicit, command, induce, or otherwise endeavor to persuade another person to engage in a crime of violence against a person or property. 18 U.S.C. § 373. (from Google)

(51,584 posts)And he is!! I have seen Putin documentaries when he has clearly stated that as a child he experienced Russia was falling apart and during his time as a child he chased rats. One day (Putin says) he came across a cornered rat ( Putin was in the same place he is today, cornered rat). The rat (not Putin, the real animal rat) became a metaphor for his adult life. The rodent was not afraid, but just the opposite. He went into defense mode and attacked the child Putin. Putin was so impressed with this offensive rodent that it became a symbol to him. At this moment in his life he knew what stance he would have to take for the rest of his life. Putin is clearly "the cornered rat" in this scenario. Who in Russia will have the honor of terminating this Putin Rat?

(10,123 posts)In other words, good news his hands are nowhere near the real levers of power.
His poll numbers have gone down and will continue to go down with this recent bad news as it gets spread around and digested.
At some point, my hope is he'll lash out at the GOP and they'll lose some of his supporters over it.
Is it more dangerous at the moment? I think so.
But right now, he's got to figure out what he's going to do.
He's impulsive. So he'll wail on TruthSocial for a while to see if he can find some media narrative - blaming others for his downfall.
He'll get some attention like a wounded skunk who got hit by a car.
But GOP folks will start to shun him - quietly if they're smart.
They'll be very careful, trying to let him go without drawing attention to themselves.
They don't give a shit about Trump. They just fear losing his base.
Trump has major legal problems.
And now, he's got a real business problem - banks/creditors calling their loans or clamoring for more security (if any can be had ..)
The $4 mil/month he's spending on lawyers will drain his PAC as donations for the fraudster fall off. (I think DeSantis passed him this year already)
My concern is that he'll continue to distract attention from his enablers and the election laws/scams they're trying to implement, etc.

(8,677 posts)He is dangerous but no longer has the power of the White House. The biggest threat is being able to incite violence among his rabid followers. But that would probably be limited... imo.
