(11,143 posts)Who stabbed MF45 in the back by recommending Dearie?

(55,723 posts)According to Axios sources, the Trump lawyers picked Judge Dearie because years ago, in his FISA Court role, he approved search warrants in the Carter Page investigation unaware that the FBI statements he relied upon were both materially false and incomplete. As a result, per this analysis, they believed Judge Dearie became a deep skeptic of the FBI and would perform his special master role with that jaundiced perspective. So, if this information is accurate, these lawyers concluded that a judge known for his integrity, objectivity, and career-long determination to follow the law, who served on the FISA Court for seven years and, thus, regularly came face to face with the enormous task our intelligence services have in keeping the country safe, would be influenced by a years-old grudge he very likely never had, to conduct himself in a manner completely antithetical to experience and, most importantly, to his very core.

(2,246 posts)I also think that they (Trump, his team) cannot conceive of someone not being as corrupt, and grudge-holding as they are. Honor and integrity simply baffles them. They assume it's a scam, and they just haven't worked out the hook yet. Decency is so impossible in them, they can't even recognize it in others.

(17,298 posts)would be outraged by the actions/conduct of IQ45 and his legions - as well as the politicians who have sold their souls to their 'leader' - in spite of having taken an oath to obey and follow the law. Serious 'attorneys' seem to be quite upset with the way things have been going.
But on the other side, there is shock that so many politicians (many of which are attorneys), as well those 'politicians' that are not as well versed in the legal system, have continued to support and encourage the actions of a person that is SO devoid of any criminal or moral responsibility.
It is ALWAYS great to see ANY public figure have the courage (morally or legally) to stand up to the GREAT ORANGE BLOB and use the law to tell him that "HE'S AN ASS-HOLE!"

(17,298 posts)the disbarment of Rudy should have only been the beginning of a flood of such actions, especially to IQ45's team of schemers, advisors, and aides!
