What were the criminal charges that AG Tish James referred to DOJ?

Do those go away if there is a settlement in the civil suit? I would not think so but I don't know.

If there is tax fraud or bank fraud, it would seem to be out of the realm of the civil suit?

Also, if the financial records discovered at MAL were the same records that were supposed to be turned over to the NY AG, and were not, there may be a case of obstruction?

Since Trump has more or less admitted his guilt, with all of his "Fifths" during deposition, then that would seem like a vulnerable area for him to try and escape?

It's just very difficult to keep up with all the crimes committed by Donald Trump. And we're not talking jay-walking or misdemeanors. We are talking serious crimes.

I would hope that James uncovered some issues that the IRS would want to pursue. Chainfire Sep 2022 #2

Criminal referrals means they sent evidence to the appropriate agencies along with an explanation. Those agencies will act indepently moving forward.

Tax fraud is liable to get you more time than murder.
