Roger Waters founder cancels Poland concerts after war remarks
WARSAW, Poland (AP) — Pink Floyd co-founder Roger Waters has canceled concerts planned in Poland amid outrage over his stance on Russia's war against Ukraine, Polish media reported Saturday.
An official with the Tauron Arena in Krakow, where Waters was scheduled to perform two concerts in April, said they would no longer take place.
“Roger Waters’ manager decided to withdraw ... without giving any reason," Lukasz Pytko from Tauron Arena Krakow said Saturday in comments carried by Polish media outlets.
The website for Waters' “This Is Not a Drill” concert tour did not list the Krakow concerts previously scheduled for April 21-22.

A few factors....
1. He's a bit of a bothsiderism guy. Not always wrong, but his orientation is only part antifascism, it's also antimilitarism and contrarian. Hence his support of Chinese claims on Taiwan. Hence his railing against Biden as a war criminal. I suspect he thinks he's an important middle-ground guy.
2. He's not a fan of NATO and American force projection. Not to say he's a fan of the USSR, but there it is. PF got banned in the USSR for lyrics ("Brezhnev took Afghanistan"
in a song which was much more cutting about Anglo-American militarism.
3. Pride. He said the idea of a Russian invasion of Ukraine was "bullshit" and something like anyone with an IQ above room temperature could figure that out, on RT a week before the invasion.
3. Gilmour. He has been off the chain about his former bandmates for decades. Gilmour's son married a Ukranian, it's personal as well as political (Gilmour is more of an old-school labour guy), hence Pink Floyd (i.e. surviving Pink Gilmour) doing their single with the Ukranian guy.
