with a return address to the Ohio Secretary of State?
It also appears to be a thinly veiled political flyer, as it has in scary bold print that I should "Take Back the Pumps!" But damn, I love my knew pumps. Really make my calves pop.
The mailer features pictures of gas prices, and "urges" that I should support increased energy production.
When you open it, its an Ohio Absentee Ballot request that, apparently, I can complete and mail to the Ohio Secretary of State. At least that's the address on the application.
On the bright side, it does in small print say that the "problems we face are not Democratic or Republican".
Kudos for them not using "Democrat Party". That's a dead giveaway.
Anyway, I did contact the Democratic Party of my county and sent them a photo of what I got in the mail.
It seems kind of skeevie, but not sure if it's illegal.

(4,929 posts)could that constitute voter fraud?....or the basis for someone (QOP) to say election was rigged/fraudulent?

(14,686 posts)Requesting a ballot for a state you are not a resident of is a crime.
Maybe they are just sending them to dems? Put the name of a maga living near you and send it back.

(31,954 posts)I would be interested in what your local Dem party has to say. Like you said, it seems like a thinly veiled political ad and we can all guess from which side.
