who use kindness and good judgment because they don't end up on viral videos violently violating citizen's rights so outrageously that it makes national news—a la the George Floyd case.

And I include the silent ones who just watch the violent cops abuse/beat/kill citizens and don't day anything...meaning it's gotta be at least 50% of the rank and file who we see on the infamous videos making themselves look busy directing traffic around the beat downs, or telling on-lookers to stand back, nothing to see here.

We just record it now. Just think about how much of this went on before we all had cell phones.
This harassment must stay in the news until it goes away. We must talk about it!
When I was a young man it was well known the cops in Philly would beat you if you gave them half a chance. Frank Rizzo's legacy is a legacy of unchecked police brutality. There was also substantial corruption and rackets within Rizzo's police force.
We are headed in the right direction.
