Rep. Mary Peltola 1st bill H.R. 8888 passes in the House

Congrats
@MaryPeltola
on the passage of your 1st bill! H.R. 8888, Food Security for All Veterans Act 🤙🏽🤙🏽

This has to be some kind of record from being sworn in to getting a Bill passed in your chamber.

She is certainly in the do something caucus.

It's so embarassing to have MAGAts in elected offices.

(KY in the Senate is even worse: Moscow Mitch and the Squirrel-Living-On-Random-Piles).

And work for us all.

We tend to not hear about the doers and future leaders so much since the job they're sent to do is in congress, working with their colleagues on committee assignments and on constituent issues, and of course at home with their constituents.

Rep. Kahele's own constituents dumped national showhorse Tulsi Gabbard in 2020 for him. She of course turned her "concerned" criticism of Democrats into a lucrative career of smearing Democrats full time once she no longer had to put up her faux Progressive-Democrat front.

I wonder if their opponents might have something to say about their vote against this bill and whether that would have a positive or negative impact on their polling?

After going to a voice coach to sound more macho, of course.

And let's face it: to a lot of vets (and their families), it works.

More and more are seeing through it though.

The list could go on...Dems govern. Rethugs obstruct.

Wonder which 49 asshats voted against this while claiming to be pro veteran. Hang this on them in ads along with the vote against burnpits.

Yeah for the new rep!!?
